The forecast predicted rain, but that wouldn’t stop this radiant couple on their big day. Lexi and Isaac’s beautiful summer wedding was held at Mercy Hill Church in Greensboro, North Carolina. The varying shades of blush that the bridesmaids wore, combined with the grey and white attire for the groomsmen, created the perfect combination of colors for the day.
One of the things that impressed me when I first met this sweet couple was how much their story paralleled the story that my husband and I share: from how they met (at church), to where he proposed (at a coffee shop) to the dreams they shared for their future together (supporting missionary work around the globe)…it was all so familiar yet uniquely theirs at the same time.
From the moment that I arrived on their wedding day, the atmosphere was filled with warmth and excitement, and it became evident to me from the beginning how deeply Lexi and Isaac are loved by their friends and family. Although they chose not to share a first look before their ceremony, this precious couple did want to take a few minutes to pray together. What a privilege it was to be there and capture that moment for them. As they held hands I was so humbled by the way that they prayed not only for each other and their wedding day, but for their future together. They faith that they share was so real and so evident in that moment, and throughout the entire day.
After their ceremony, the celebration continued with dinner and lots of dancing at the reception. I don’t remember the last time I heard such a great playlist… I could have stayed on that dance floor all night long with them! 🙂
Lexi and Isaac – thank you both from the bottom of my heart for the privilege of capturing your wedding day. You two have built the foundation of your life together on solid ground and I am one hundred percent certain that your lives and marriage will continue to be a blessing to everyone around you. Wishing you all the very, very best for your future together!
