In the mood for a little pick-me-up to brighten your Friday? Well you are in for a treat today, friends!

If you’ve followed me for a while now you know that I primarily capture weddings and family portraits. (Remember Sierra & Martin’s beautiful summer wedding?!) But every once in a while, an opportunity outside my normal realm will come along that is just too fun to pass up. And that is exactly what happened when I connected with Cheyenne, founder of Triangle Families Explore.

As Cheyenne shared her ideas with me for their “Party Animal” inspired birthday, I just knew that we were going to have so.much.fun. Every detail from the custom invitations (Humble Hippie Studio) to the adorable party favors (Crayon Fanatics) were perfect. The incredible cake (AE Cakes) and super fun “mocktails” (A Glass Above) were AH-MAZING and kept all of those party animals going back for more. And can we just pause for a moment to take a look at this venue?! Alara & Zane is a family’s dream venue come true! Their beautiful natural light, engaging atmosphere, stellar staff and commitment to keeping their venue clean and safe makes them an automatic crowd pleaser. Alara & Zane is now at the top of my favorite family spots in the Triangle area. And, bonus, they also sell the most adorable children’s items!

As a photographer (and a mom) I was so inspired by this celebration. Cheyenne not only knows how to put together a great party, but she is the queen of all things family fun in the Triangle area (and beyond)!
