Today is this sweet girl’s birthday and I am so excited to share some of my favorite images from her Winter “One-derland” themed cake smash. When Remi’s mom Shannon started to share her vision with me for this December baby’s birthday I was over the moon excited! I was in love love with every detail from the colors to the decor and Remi’s outfits. Not to mention…Shannon made many of the items herself (can we say supermom?!).

If you’ve followed me for any length of time you probably know that first birthday photos have a very special place in my heart. Almost eight years ago when my own son turned one I convinced my husband to let us hire a professional photographer to take his pictures. It took me months to convince him (literally, I had to start priming him in the summer for our son’s October birthday LOL) but in the end we did make the decision to invest in having his photos taken by a local photographer and I will never, ever regret it.
