On today’s blog I am excited to share some of my favorite images from Mallory and Brandon’s beautiful summer wedding in Durham, North Carolina. Their traditional ceremony took place at Braggtown Baptist Church – the same church where Brandon’s parents were married so many years ago! The perfect sunny day set the stage for their exchange of vows and reception surrounded by friends and family.

I love to work with my couples to create images that are special and meaningful to them! We captured one of the many beautiful portraits of Mallory and Brandon in front of the church’s stained-glass window… the same portrait Brandon’s parents captured on their wedding day! Fun fact: we also selected Duke Gardens as the location for their spring engagement session earlier this year because Brandon grew up going to the gardens with his family. His mom had even captured some of her bridal portraits there which I thought was so special!

With a beautiful harpist playing in the background, this couple shared their final moments of the reception alone and reflecting on the how beautiful their day had been…I cannot think of a more beautiful way to close out their special day!
