On today’s blog I am so excited to share a glimpse into Brittany and Jonas’ May wedding at The Chairman’s Retreat! We could not have asked for more beautiful weather on their wedding day! Surrounded by their family and friends, this fun couple made their day special and unique in so many ways including their first dance selections and a special photo op towards the end of the night.

Brittany and Jonas have two of the sweetest little ones together, and I love how they intentionally incorporated their children into their wedding throughout the day. In lieu of a traditional mother/groom and father/bride dance they chose to have Jonas share a first dance with their daughter and Brittany shared a first dance with their son. I did my very best not to cry during those two moments…but, seriously, it was so hard not to. Such a sweet moment!

As the evening progressed, guests were surprised with a special photo opportunity with Bonnie Roo VW Rental. Tiffany, the owner of Bonnie Roo, did a fantastic job setting up the bus and so many guests enjoyed snapping pics with it throughout the evening. At the end of the night, it was also Brittany and Jonas’ getaway car which is super fun!

One of my favorite aspects overall about Brittany and Jonas’ wedding was watching how close their friends and families are. Jonas is from Germany, and he and Brittany had met there when she was a business trip some years back. It was so amazing to see not only how many of his friends and family came all the way from Germany to celebrate on their big day, but also to see how close he and Brittany’s families were together.

Brittany and Jonas – I cannot thank you two enough for the incredible privilege of capturing your wedding day. It was sincerely an honor! I hope you enjoy this glimpse into your day and look back on these images for decades to come with the best memories of your beautiful wedding!
