For Nikki and Mike, their journey began at High Point University. After six wonderful years together, Mike decided to start a new chapter in their story by proposing to Nikki. And on a momentous day, exactly seven years from the day they started dating, they said their heartfelt “I dos” at their Brier Creek Country Club Wedding. The occasion was a true celebration of love, marked by unforgettable moments and shared with friends and family who had gathered from all over the country.

Family and Friends Come Together

Their wedding day was nothing short of perfect, a sentiment beautifully echoed by Nikki’s father, Frank, who described it as “a perfect weekend.” Friends and family from across the United States gathered to celebrate at their October Brier Creek Country Club Wedding. The love and support of family shone bright as the bride and groom had their only siblings standing by their side. Nikki’s sister, Natalie, served as her Maid of Honor, while Mike’s sister proudly took on the role of his “Best Person.”

Heartfelt Vows and Unique Promises

One of the most touching aspects of their day was the heartfelt vows that Nikki and Mike exchanged. These vows were a beautiful fusion of tradition and personal promises, tailored to their unique relationship. Nikki vowed to never interfere with Mike’s cherished “Whisky Wednesday” tradition. In return, Mike promised to always catch Nikki’s “perfect jump shot” whenever she indulged in her greatest passion—horse riding.

Honoring Tradition

To honor Mike’s Jewish heritage, two beautiful customs were thoughtfully incorporated into the celebration. The breaking of the glass during the ceremony, followed by the shout of “Mazel Tov” was a moment of significance. The Hora dance during the reception added a spirited element to their day, and it was such a fun experience to capture.

As I reflect on Nikki and Mike’s journey, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to them and their families for allowing me to be a part of their story. From their engagement session to their wedding day, working with this incredible couple has been so much fun.
