Welcome to a love story that began in the halls of a chemistry class at Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU). Jacyln and Brian’s journey, which started in Florida, took a North Carolina turn as they ventured into a shared life together after undergrad. After nearly eight wonderful years, Brian orchestrated a dreamy proposal in December 2022, adorned with hundreds of balloons and flowers filling their new home. As their engagement session unfolded beautifully in front of my camera lens earlier this year, the anticipation for their enchanting fall wedding at The Parlour at Manns Chapel began!
From their engagement photos, where we captured a glimpse of the genuine excitement between them, to the intricate details of their fall wedding, every moment has been a joy to capture. As a photographer, there’s nothing more rewarding than witnessing and preserving the milestones within a couples journey.
On their wedding day, every detail echoed their personalities and the depth of their connection. In a nod to tradition, Jaclyn adorned her great-grandmother’s delicate blue gem ring as her “something blue,” adding a touch of sentimentality. The lux bounce house, a playful addition to the celebration, became a source of joy for all of the wedding guests, regardless of age.
The choice of family-style seating arrangements created an intimate atmosphere, ensuring that every guest felt part of all the conversations. Against the backdrop of November’s chilly temperatures, the fire pit, accompanied by a S’mores station, offered warmth and sweet indulgence during the cocktail hour and reception.
To Jacyln and Brian, thank you for allowing me the privilege of capturing your extraordinary Parlour fall wedding day. Here’s to a lifetime filled with more chemistry, laughter, and shared adventures!
