Every couple has something special, something uniquely them, about their wedding day. On today’s blog I’m going to share a few of those beautiful details from Jamie and Eddie’s fall wedding at The Country Club at Wakefield.

Their burgundy and cream color palate, with accents of gold, was the absolute perfect choice for this mid-fall wedding. Every detail from their cake by Edible Art, to the most adorable flower girl dresses from Amazon, to the florals beautifully designed by The Skinny Vase all incorporated pops of burgundy and cream – tying their theme together perfectly. Jamie’s beautiful ballgown style dress from Carolina Bridal World was stunning.

As the day went on, the couple had a few surprises planned for their guests. Signature cocktails, “The Waylon” and “Persephone’s Kiss”, named after the couple’s adorable pups were served at cocktail hour and throughout the reception. A custom cigar bar was opened after dinner and guests were invited to relax, enjoy a cigar, or take one home with them to enjoy later. But probably my favorite detail from the entire day were the two songs that the bride sang and recorded herself! One song that played during the processional and another that the groom and his mom danced to. Jamie – you have an absolutely beautiful voice (and I don’t say that lightly 😊) and I loved that personal touch that you added to your beautiful day.

To Jamie, Eddie, and your families…thank you from the bottom of my heart for the privilege of capturing your wedding day. I hope you enjoy this small preview of your day and look back on your wedding album for decades to come with joy-filled memories.
