Hannah and Chase…where do I begin with these two? I first connected with Hannah last year after she found me on Instagram. During our consultation call, which is a part of the planning process that I so enjoy walking through with my clients, I could immediately tell that she and Chase were going to be a couple who I would love working with. The sweetest love story (more on that below!) and Hannah’s clarity of vision for their elegant Raleigh wedding at the Meredith College Jones Chapel sounded like the perfect blend of classic meets modern… and I could not wait to be a part of their big day!

Fast forward to December 2022…I remember joking with Chase at their winter engagement session that his proposal had won the award for most thoughtful in 2022! Hannah had shared with me that Chase planned a picnic on the beach, complete with picnic blanket and a little basket for them in May of that year. A message in a bottle washed up on shore, magically, right where they were sitting and inside was a sweet note he had written about their love and life together in the future. He was clearly such a thoughtful person, and that sentiment was undoubtedly carried through on their wedding day.

There are so many moments I could share about from their beautiful wedding day, but I think the one that tops them all were how many tears of joy were shed throughout the day. As Hannah’s mom and sister helped her put the final touches of her veil on, as the bride and groom shared a First Touch together before their ceremony, as the groom saw his bride walking down the aisle and maybe just maybe my favorite moment of the day…the tears of joy that Hannah and Chase shared in the moments immediately after their ceremony. It was so genuine, so pure, and such an honor to capture it all throughout the day.

Hannah and Chase – you two share one of the deepest, most genuine loves I’ve had the privilege of capturing. It was an honor to be a part of your journey!
