Raleigh Engagement Session

On today’s blog I’m so excited to continue sharing a series of spring engagement sessions, and I literally could not be more thrilled to share the images below from Ashlyn and Trever’s recent engagement session at Southern Grace Farms.

Despite the unpredictable nature of spring weather in our area, we could not have asked for a more gorgeous evening for this photo session. This sweet couple chose Southern Grace Farms as the location for their engagement photos because it’s the same location where they will be having their beautiful wedding spring 2024.

Side note: If you’re looking for a wedding venue in the Triangle area, or know someone who is, I 100% recommend looking into Southern Grace. Their property is immaculate and blends the perfect details of southern charm with elegance and class. I also had the opportunity to meet the venue owners while we were on site, and I can confidently say that they are the real deal. They care so, so much about their couples which was so refreshing to hear because I aim to serve my clients with the same level of care and attention throughout our planning process. So, if you’re looking for a wedding venue or know someone who is…check them out. Now, back to our sweet couple… 😊

About The Couple

Ashlyn and Trever dated for just over two years before getting engaged. If you know me, you know that I love engagement stories and I had so much fun hearing Trevor’s recap of the proposal story during their engagement session. The sweet couple had planned a trip to The Biltmore and Trever selected the perfect location to ask Ashlyn to marry him: in the grand house right in front of their beautiful Christmas tree decorated for the holiday season. He was even able to have someone record the proposal on video using his phone…which deserves major bonus points in my opinion. 😉

Ashlyn is just the sweetest thing and she looked stunning in a light blue dress that she wore for the first portion of their session. For the second part of their session, we opted for a more casual feel complete with the couple going for a little ride in canoe in the farm’s pond. Those images were so fun to capture!
